Self-Tightening Shoes

To be honest, I never really cared if we ever get the self-lacing shoes Marty McFly rocked in Back to the Future (even though Nike promised it for next year) – I always considered the feature a novelty, at best.  Seeing these Powerlace Auto-Lacing Sneakers, however, made me want to change my mind.  The whole thing just seems so convenient.

Rather than require batteries like we always imagined self-lacing footwear will do, this one relies on a clever mechanical system of levers, cables, and the weight of your own feet, instead.  That means, no electronic components to ever mess with, so there’s nothing to damage if the shoes get wet and no batteries to replace on a periodic basis.

Wiki Research

There are various types of ways to use wiki in a classroom, whether to get started or a point of view on what you wanted to researched abut, in order to discuss what materials you need for a paper, or even just a value of general idea. History class should give it a thought to use wiki during the time period. Whether its to help them generally start or just wants to know a fact on it. History class is a little complex for some people, and others make it seem like its nothing. Some of the benefits of using wiki using class period is to only help the basics of what they need, get a started point, point of view, etc. Lets say someone is too bus to check their own email. can't respond to texts, or answer calls. They would get a better view of setting up a wiki page that only the group members can view and edit. Instead of meeting up, they can just chat and put ideals for those who don't really know how to even begin a paper by themselves or in a group. I have no experience with wiki, my school never allowed it unless the teacher approved.
