do now 9/29

A editorial is a newspaper article written by or on behalf of an editor that gives an opinion on a topical issue. My teachers told me that wikipedia is not a reliable source because random people go on that website and post false facts. I mean it really depends on the teacher but its like 50/50 they rather us not use it but it wouldnt really matter if we did.before i read this article i was already pretty cuaght up with all the wikipedia scandals or what not.i personally don't like to use wikipedia.

      Will the car of the future look anything like the car of today? According to Volkswagen, it could look like a floating doughnut. The VW Hover Car is one of three concepts to come out of the People’s Car Project the German company company launched in China last year. It was recently presented to the public at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show.

      The Hover Car floats about a foot off the ground and seats two. Right now, the hovering bubble car is powered by CGI, but, theoretically, thrusters on the back would provide forward motion. Because of the lack of friction, the Hover Car could be very energy-efficient. It could also turn on a dime, because it is dime-shaped.

educational technology and copyright law

I learned that nobody can steal your idea because once you create your doodle it is copyrighted
  1. Reproduce the copyrighted work;
  2. Display the copyrighted work publicly;
  3. Prepare derivative works based on the copyrighted work; and
  4. Distribute copies of the copyrighted work to the public by sale, rental or lending, and/or to display the image.
  5.  It’s important to know that copyright laws are on the books to encourage the creation of content, not restrict its access
  6. the purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purpose.
  7. the amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole.

web 2.0 multimedia blog

     One content class i attend is algebra 2 my teacher is Mr.burger and he loves to help kids out with their work and is also very friendly. In math class i normally would expect to learn how to add,subtract,divide,and multiply numbers.I also expect to see a lot of graphs, and showing my work for every question. So far i learned mainly just solving questions and putting the answer on a graph.

     They haven't really talked about much grading but i'm sure they grade the same way all the other teachers do and that is fairly not unfairly. They haven't talked about much of class trips in that class and all we do is work but to be honest i really don't mind it, when i enter that class room i just get a good vibe and the period always goes by fast. In math class there is no technology stuff used, maybe the closest we get to technology is a ruler.

     As of right now I can't really say anything bad about that class because school just started. But what I can say is that all the kids in my math class for the most part are well behaved and don't give the teachers a hard time.And even though i really don't enjoy math that much, i love counting numbers, I think unless your career in the future involves graphs and all that stuff math teaches you then that's the class for you but other then that basic math is all you need to know in life so you can count your money.
