Holiday Break
My break was really fun i didn't do anything crazy but i finally got to sign up for the gym over in Hasbrook Heights, the 24 hour fitness. It's a great gym, I mainly just played basketball and went into the pool but im going to start using the weights more because I need to get ready for the summer. Over the break i got to talk to my friend that's in the army I basically consider him family because iv known him for so long and all the stuff he's done for my family and me.
I also met new people through my other friends, to me that's always good because I like to be social. For Christmas I went to a party with a friend, I had a lot of fun because it's been a while since I went to one. But basically my break was the same as any average weekend or other break, I was outside everyday doing whatever. So in other words i had a great holiday break.

water to fuel
One of the big motivations for exploring alternative forms of energy is the eventual scarcity of hydrocarbon fuels. Simply put, the well will probably dry up at some point. What do we do then? A German company called Sunfire claims to have developed a process that will allow them to manufacture hydrocarbon fuels using just water and carbon dioxide.
The Dresden-based operation recently unveiled a machine that uses its “Power to Liquid” technology, which performs the conversion through a combination of the Fischer-Tropsch process and solid electrolyzer cells. Under this system, water is turned to steam using electricity from renewable sources (e.g. solar, wind, tides), which is then treated to remove oxygen and produce hydrogen gas.
With hydrogen now isolated, Sunfire’s machine will then proceed to harvest carbon dioxide gas from the atmosphere, which it distills into carbon monoxide. The two resultant gases are then synthesized into high-purity fuel using the aforementioned Fischer-Tropsch process, allowing the machine to create very specific hydrocarbon molecules that, when suspended in water, can transform into gasoline and diesel. Any excess heat generated by the machine is put back to produce even more steam, giving the machine an efficiency rate of 70 percent.
At this stage, the machine Sunfire created, paid for in part by Germany’s Federal Ministry of Education and Research, is only for demonstration and feasibility purposes. While it does work, production is limited to a barrel of fuel per day, a far cry from an average oil rig, which can crank out 200 to 300 barrels within the same period of time.
You can learn more about Sunfire from the link below.

web 2.0 do now 12/15
Well a couple things I would do to make the world a better place is first make my self a better person so that when I try to help otherS with any situation they don't look at me and ask ''why don't you do it''. A couple things I could do is help out the needy in the world such as the less wealthy. Doing things like that will give you a good reputation so people can know your a good person by heart. Giving to a charity is good to, it shows your not selfish with what you have and others don't. But you have to remember you can't help other unless you help yourself. Putting people on the right track in life that are or were doing bad is always good because the more good people we have in life the better because as people we tend to mock what we see so if you see good most likely your going to do good. Maybe showing people that work and education is the path go down or playing sports even, that's a healthy way to stay out of trouble. One thing you don't want to do is if your trying to help people out don't be a hypocrite because eventually people will notice this and they will not be on your side anymore. Volunteer work is good to, it shows you care about your community and not about only money even though money is what runs the world but also destroys it at the same time so in order to do good your have to be good.

Pizza
My restaurant is Pizza Hut located in Fort Lee New Jersey right off the highway. The type of food they serve is mainly pizza but they also have buffalo wings, cheese sticks, some sandwiches, and garlic bread.I would say my favorite thing to eat there is the meat lover pizza because I love meats. This Pizza Hut that I'm talking about has been around for nearly 30 years and I know this because my brother use to work there.
This is my favorite restaurant because I am obsessed with pizza and personally I think they have the best pizza around, well atleast near us. If this restaurant shut down I would be highly upset but I would most likely go to another Pizza Hut in a different location or just choose another restaurant like Dominoes.I would choose Dominoes because there second on my list for restaurants and I love there kicker wings.
I like Pizza so much Because when my older brother use to work there thats's all he would bring home. He would have all different types of pizzas, wings, cheese and bread sticks, pasta's, and etc.But even though my brother doesn't work there no more I still like nothing and also my friend works there now and he always offers me pizza.

First erasable electronic paper
espite the many talks about a paperless office over the years, the pulp product remains an indispensable part of our daily lives. And from the looks of things, it isn’t likely to be going away any time soon. Instead of looking for more ways to eliminate paper, chemists from the University of California, Riverside (UCR) decided to take steps to improve it, instead.
Unlike regular paper that’s rendered unusable after it’s been printed on, the newly-developed prototype paper can have all of its contents erased, rendering it completely blank and available for printing on once again. That way, all those reports you print out won’t need to be shredded and disposed of after their usefulness has passed – you simply erase the print and use the same sheets all over again.
The rewritable paper isn’t used the same way as ordinary paper. For one, you don’t actually print on it using ink from a printer. Instead, it requires an ultraviolet printing process, where the paper is exposed to UV light to create the impressions on the sheet. For erasing, the sheet needs to simply be exposed to a heat of 115 °C, which will cause the impressions to disappear and leave the paper completely blank. It uses the technology of redox dyes to accomplish this feat (the paper is, basically, coated with it), whose color-switching properties enable the unique printing process. Each sheet is constructed as a film made from plastic and glass, with enough of the active material to allow it to be printed and erased up to 20 times, without any significant loss in contrast or resolution
